Zendaya made a surprise appearance at the 98th Academy Awards tonight, where she presented the award for Best Directing alongside her The Drama costar Robert Pattinson (talk about some seriously good film promotion).

For the on-stage moment, Zendaya wore a custom chocolate gown from Louis Vuitton, with an asymmetrical halter-style neckline, that draped down one of her arms for a half off-the-shoulder look. She accessorized the ensemble with a diamond watch and dangly silver earrings, and her on-stage co-presenter opted for a classic black tuxedo sans a tie.

This moment occurs a mere few weeks after it was revealed that Zendaya secretly got married to Tom Holland earlier this year, with an intimate ceremony in Italy. At the Actor Awards, Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, spilled the news, telling a reporter: “The wedding already happened. You missed it.”

Since that moment, Zendaya has been spotted with a golden wedding band on her hand, first in a photoshoot for her new film The Drama, and then when she attended the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2026-27 show in Paris. Better yet, she’s also been wearing bridal whites to nearly every red carpet occasion, a decision that seems to wink to the fact that the world finally knows the big news.

The last time she and Holland walked a red carpet together was all the way back in 2021, at the world premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home in Los Angeles.
