- Whoopi Goldberg had her eye on *The View* audience on Tuesday morning.

- The Oscar-winning actress analyzed the studio crowd's looks after Joy Behar called them "gorgeous."

- "We don't always get good-looking audiences," Goldberg said as the viewers laughed.

After once rising from her seat to scold a man recording the broadcast on his phone to shushing in-studio viewers during an interview with Zohran Mamdani, Whoopi Goldberg just wrote another chapter in her comical relationship with *The View*'s studio audience.

At the start of Tuesday's episode, Goldberg and her cohosts walked out to the Hot Topics table in typical fashion, with the panelists smiling as they took their seats and acknowledged the people gathered there to watch the telecast.

"Hey! Hey! Yes!" the Oscar-winning *Ghost* actress and talk show moderator said to the audience as they cheered, with comedian Joy Behar then praising the crowd's looks.

"You know, we have the best-looking audience. Just look at this. Gorgeous!" the 83-year-old exclaimed, smiling as she watched over all in attendance for the day's show.

Goldberg then observed that "we don't always get good-looking audiences" visiting them in their New York City studio.

The audience laughed as the camera panned out to show their reaction, as Goldberg continued — and even pointed out one man's attire that caught her eye.

"But, you all are particularly good-looking today," the 70-year-old said with a smile.

She then turned around to greet the man with a reportedly sharp set of clothes. "Hello, sir. That suit is killing me," Goldberg told him. "You're killing me right now!"

Goldberg then seamlessly transitioned to the first order of business: a "sad anniversary for the United States," with the cohosts breaking down their reactions to the nation five years after the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the Capitol.

Previously, Goldberg's headline-making exchanges with *The View*'s audience included what one member of the studio crowd told * *was a move that actually prevented an intense physical altercation.

New York resident Brian Wilson told EW in March 2024 that a conflict began near him at the top of the show, and lasted around six minutes as one man's attempt to record the show intruded upon a woman's comfort.

"I can see hand gestures out of the corner of my eye," Wilson said at the time. "I could hear some noise on my right side, it started to become a little distracting."

During the show, viewers at home who couldn't see the exchange happening in the risers were instead treated to a show from Goldberg, who stood up and walked toward the squabbling audience members.

"Hold on a second, hold on," Goldberg said in the moment. "Sir, I have to stop you with the camera. Because I can see you. So, do me a favor, don't pull it out again, I'd appreciate that. Thank you."
