Hakuna Matata!

32 years later, and The Lion King still has us singing at the top of our lungs… and emotionally preparing ourselves for that stampede!

Disney's animated classic hit theaters on June 24, 1994, introducing the world to Simba, Mufasa and the "Circle of Life."

Between its epic soundtrack and star-studded cast — not to mention its surprisingly profound lessons on grief and unresolved family trauma — it's no wonder The Lion King has become a cultural phenomenon over time.

Whether it be the majesty and strength brought on by the legendary James Earl Jones as the voice of Mufasa, or Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella's hysterical portrayal of Timon and Pumbaa, everything from the exceptional voice performances and iconic character attributes is integral to the film's magic.

On that note, and in honor of The Lion King's 32nd anniversary, we are matching each zodiac sign with the character that best captures its energy.

Are you more like Zazu or Rafiki? Read on for The Lion King character you are based on your zodiac sign.

Aries: Young Simba

I laugh in the face of danger! Everything from young Simba's innocence to his sheer audacity makes him a total Aries. His courage is genuine, as is his tendency to rush headfirst into danger, especially when his pride is challenged. He's fearless and impatient, but hasn't yet considered the consequences.

Taurus: Pumbaa

Hakuna matata. It means 'no worries. Like Taurus, Pumbaa understands that life is better with good food and as few unnecessary concerns as possible. He is affectionate and deeply appreciative of comfort, but his laid-back nature should never be mistaken for weakness.

Gemini: Shenzi, Banzai and Ed

What's the hurry? We'd love you to stick around for dinner. Everything about Shenzi, Banzai and Ed is giving Gemini energy — Shenzi is sharp, perceptive and strategic; Banzai is reactive and argumentative, while Ed contributes random and unpredictable laughter. Still, together they are clever and easily entertained, keeping watch for the villainous Scar.

Cancer: Sarafina

Hmm, what do you think, Sarabi? Despite not having much screen time, Serafina's maternal energy comes through immediately. She is seen bathing and tending to her daughter, Nala, similar to the way Cancer protects and cares for the people closest to them.

Leo: Mufasa

A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, Simba, the sun will set on my time here and will rise with you as the new king. Mufasa is a Leo through and through. The leader and protector of his kingdom, his character embodies this Fire sign in its most evolved form. He's regal, powerful, confident and effortlessly demands attention and respect. Still, his sense of authority stems from a strong sense of responsibility, guiding his son and serving his kingdom.

Virgo: Zazu

Checking in with the morning report. Zazu is the only character consistently thinking about schedules, safety procedures and the consequences of everyone else's poor decision-making skills. Like Virgo, he's responsible and devoted to doing his job correctly. His tendency to fuss, correct and worry can make him seem uptight, and this Earth sign is no exception.

Libra: Nala

Your reign is over, Scar. Simba is the rightful king. Like Libra, Nala has grace, charm and emotional intelligence, but she is far from passive. She values partnership and believes in Simba, but she refuses to remain complacent as a way to preserve the peace. When the Pride Lands are suffering, she seeks him out and challenges him to take a hard look at what he's been avoiding.

Scorpio: Scar

Well, I was first in line...until the little hairball was born! Scar is secretive, strategic and envious of his brother Mufasa. Similar to Scorpio's darker attributes, Scar rarely attacks directly — he prefers Plutonian tactics such as manipulation and psychological motivation. His resentment also runs deep, but his understanding of power, fear and vulnerability makes him all the more formidable.

Sagittarius: Older Simba

I know what I have to do, but going back means I'll have to face my past. I've been running from it for so long. Similar to Sagittarius' overly optimistic nature, older Simba runs far away from responsibility, embracing a philosophy built around freedom, pleasure and avoiding the past. Still, his journey also becomes a search for truth and meaning. Eventually, he realizes that there is no freedom without accountability.

Capricorn: Sarabi

It's over. There is nothing left. We have only one choice. We must leave Pride Rock. Like Capricorn, Sarabi carries herself with an innate sense of authority, emotional control and a perpetual sense of duty. Despite being Mufasa's right hand, she keeps her grace and poise, even while the Pride Lands deteriorate under Scar's rule. Sarabi is resilient, measured and unwavering in her loyalty, much like this Earth sign.

Aquarius: Timon

When the world turns its back on you, you turn your back on the world. Similar to eccentric and rebellious Aquarius, Timon rejects traditional norms, creating an entirely different way of living. Clever, sarcastic and fiercely independent, he is unapologetically outspoken, convinced the "circle of life's" established system is overrated.

Pisces: Rafiki

Look closer. You see, he lives in you. Rafiki moves through life with access to information no one else seems to understand. Similar to numinous Pisces, he is mystical, intuitive and guided by symbols, memories and spiritual insight rather than ordinary logic. His wisdom often comes through in otherworldly forms, but it reaches Simba in ways direct advice never could.
