NEW YORK, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Casey Means, President Donald Trump's nominee for U.S. surgeon general and an ally of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., said before the Senate's Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee that she backs vaccines for measles, currently at levels not seen in decades in the U.S., and other diseases.

"I'm supportive of vaccination. I do believe that each patient, mother, parent, needs to have a conversation with their pediatrician about any medication they're putting in their body and their children's body," Means said.
