NEW YORK, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Casey Means, President ‌Donald Trump's nominee ‌for U.S. surgeon general and ​an ally of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., said before ‌the Senate's ⁠Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee ⁠that she backs vaccines for measles, currently ​at levels ​not ​seen in ‌decades in the U.S., and other diseases.

"I'm supportive of vaccination. I do believe that each ‌patient, mother, parent, ​needs to ​have ​a conversation with ‌their pediatrician about ​any medication ​they're putting in their body and their ​children's ‌body," Means said.
