Ryan Gosling guested on the March 18 episode of Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. The 45-year-old actor discussed various topics, including his upcoming movie, Project Hail Mary. He also joked about being a “liability” in one of his earliest films, Remember the Titans.

During the New Heights podcast, Ryan Gosling hilariously confesses he considers himself a “liability.” Jason introduced the La La Land star in his trademark, exuberant style filled with praise and enthusiasm. The Eagles alum introduced Gosling by listing his major films and performances, prompting the actor to declare himself a “liability.”
Jason mentioned one of Gosling’s earliest films, Remember the Titans. For those unversed, it is a sports biographical drama film loosely based on the true story of coach Herman Boone, portrayed by Denzel Washington. Gosling portrays Alan Bosley, who has his own unique journey of redemption and takes charge of his own narrative in the film.
Remember the Titans didn’t do particularly well upon release, but has now gained cult status as one of the greatest football films of all time.After Jason’s introduction, Gosling quipped, “You had to call out Remember the Titans. The fact that you guys would have me, knowing I’m a liability at the corner. It means a lot to me.” The hilarious comment made the Kelce brothers guffaw loudly.

The Project Hail Mary alum shared, “It doesn’t matter what I accomplish in my life, there will be someone in the comment section that says, ‘Never forget he’s an absolute liability at the corner… He’s a liability at the corner, who cares? Get Petey in there, ASAP!’”
To this, the Eagles alum gently pacified The Fall Guy star by stating, “We’re all about team players. And that was a team move.”
