- The singer-songwriter, who turned 32 on Aug. 17, revealed that she “got appendicitis for my birthday.”

- She also shared a photo of herself looking glum in a hospital bed.

Phoebe Bridgers may have just received the worst birthday present ever.

The “Lost Boys” singer, who turned 32 on Aug. 17, announced in an Instagram Story on Wednesday that she’s rescheduling several U.K. tour dates set to be held later this week due to an unfortunately timed illness.

“I got appendicitis for my birthday,” Bridgers wrote. “Everything in the U.K. this week will have to move but I’ll make it up to you!”

Alongside her note, the four-time Grammy winner shared a snapshot of herself looking glum in a hospital bed.

Bridgers was originally set to play in Kingston upon Thames today, before going on to hold concerts in Brighton on Aug. 20 followed by Bristol on Aug. 21. As part of the tour, each town was set to receive both a matinee and evening performance.

The boygenius star’s illness comes after she celebrated her 32nd birthday by performing two shows at the Union Chapel in London on Monday. The intimate concerts saw her perform a bevy of hits new and old, including “Motion Sickness” and “Bobby.”

Rescheduled dates have not yet been announced. Kingston’s Banquet Records, which was handling the event, announced in its own Instagram Story that they’re “working closely with [Bridgers’] global teams, and will update as soon as we can.”

They added, “We of course wish her all the best, and apologize for any disappointment.”

Bridgers is set to kick off her sold out *Lost Weekend* tour in Indianapolis, Ind., on Sept. 14. The tour will wind its way throughout the United States before making the leap across the pond to perform in the U.K. and Ireland in November.

The singer-songwriter released her third solo album*, *titled* Lost Weekend*, on Aug. 14. Her first solo album in six years, the record has been met with rave reviews — and even earned a spot on **’s very own Must List.

Staff editor Tiffany Kelly noted that the 16-track album “explores love, a broken engagement, and grief,” and even includes a voicemail from Bridgers’ late father on the song, “Never Going Back!”
