The obituary continues to describe Magness as a "vibrant, fearless, and deeply loved young woman whose compassion, humor, and bright spirit touched every person blessed to know her. A gifted performer, Camryn's voice and music were extensions of her soul. Born in Denver on July 14, 1999, Magness had already performed at some of the biggest venues across the country and opened for some of pop's hottest groups by the time she could vote. When she was just 13, she gave an interview to *Teen Vogue*, in which she reflected on the five years between sending off her first tape to her future manager and being asked to perform ahead of acts like One Direction and Cody Simpson.

"Going into the tour, I was an unknown artist," she said, recalling opening for One Direction at the height of their Stateside popularity on the 2012 Up All Night Tour. "It's a great feeling to be walking around and someone coming up to me and saying, 'Hey, you did so well!' It was really exciting for me when that happened for the first time."

Magness went on to provide the title track for the soundtrack to 2011's big-screen adaptation of *Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer*, chart with singles like "Now or Never," and join Fifth Harmony for their 7/27 Tour in 2016. At the end of the 2012 *Teen Vogue *interview, Magness offered some advice to others wishing to replicate her success: "If you have a dream, chase it. You can't let anybody get in your way."

Magness is survived by her fiancé, Christian Name; their dogs, Brooklyn and Zeppelin; her parents, Sarah and Gary; and siblings Chelsea and Cable.**
