If you've spent any time reading my toy coverage, you probably already know we're a Magna-Tiles household. We absolutely love those magnetic building sets! Between the brand's first-ever Advent calendar and its recent collaboration with Burst on a kids' electric toothbrush, Magna-Tiles has been keeping things interesting lately.
But its latest announcement might be the most exciting yet. Magna-Tiles is officially moving from the playroom to the screen with Magna-Tales, its first-ever animated series—and USA TODAY Shopping got an exclusive first look at the news.
The new series brings the colorful world of Magna-Tiles to life with original characters, catchy songs, and adventures designed to encourage kids to get creative long after the screen turns off. The show centers around the Ocean Collection—in fact, the huge Magna-Tiles Undersea Adventure 58-Piece Set is on sale right now at Amazon. Trust me, once your child watches this new show, they'll want the play set right alongside them. During our early look, my six-year-old was completely torn between watching the screen and playing with his Undersea Adventure set.
Here's a look at Magna-Tiles' top beach and undersea sets that you can shop right now:

What is Magna-Tales? Inside the new Magna-Tiles animated series
Set in the fictional world of Builders Bay, Magna-Tales follows Maggie, Tyler and their friends as they dream up creative solutions, build new things and embark on adventures together.
The series introduces several original characters, including Sparky, Clyde and Mayor Rudy, a nod to Magna-Tiles founder Rudy Valenta. Fans can also expect appearances from familiar building sets, including the Undersea Adventure set from the brand's 2026 Ocean Collection.
And because apparently animated magnetic tiles weren't adorable enough, there are also recurring fainting goats. Yes, really.

According to the brand, the goal is to inspire the same creativity and problem-solving skills that make its building sets so popular, encouraging kids to take the stories they watch and recreate them through hands-on play.
"Magna-Tales represents another thrilling evolution for our brand," said Michael Valenta, president of Magna-Tiles. "For decades, families have trusted Magna-Tiles to ignite imaginations in homes and classrooms."
Where can you watch MAGNA-TALES?
Magna-Tales is available to watch for free on the Magna-Tiles Kids TV YouTube channel.
Along with the animated episodes, families can watch original music videos, including the new song "Click It" and the Halloween-themed "Magna-Tales Spooktacular."
New episodes and songs are expected to arrive weekly through the end of the 2026 holiday season.
