A colouring book collage made by Elizabeth II when she was eight is on sale for £6,000.
As a young princess, the late Queen assembled a scene from the Pied Piper for a picture described as a “charming reminder” by auctioneers.
She coloured in outline figures of the piper, children, trees and houses using crayons before cutting them out and glueing them onto a larger sheet of paper.
She signed the picture “Lilibet”. On the back, the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother wrote “Painted by Princess Elizabeth of York, Xmas 1934”.

The picture is being sold in Toronto, Canada, with an estimated price of £6,000 - Waddingtons
She had started to write “Eliz” but scratched that out to use her daughter’s formal title instead.
In the 1950s, an unknown member of the royal household gave the 14in-by-27in collage to James Ryan, a worker for the removals firm Bishop’s Move, which Buckingham Palace employed.

“It is a charming reminder that our revered Queen Elizabeth II was once a little girl called Lilibet who liked to colour. Works by Her Majesty are rare and I have high hopes for it.”
Childhood doodles by the late Queen have occasionally appeared at auction in recent years, commanding high prices.
