Kate Gosselin shared the results of her dog's DNA testing

She previously opened up about the "stress and strain" of raising her Malinois during a TikTok in May

In her latest video, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star called the results of the DNA test "absolutely shocking"

Kate Gosselin is sharing the results of her dog's DNA testing.

In a TikTok video, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star, 51, posted on June 23, she revealed that she had gotten results back to decisively determine the breed for her rescue dog Koda, whom she adopted in May.

"It's a very exciting day," she told her followers in a video. "We got Koda's DNA results back. I have a video to show you of us finding out, and it is absolutely shocking."

Though Gosselin admitted that she had previously believed that her pup was 100% Malinois, the test results revealed that she is 53% Belgian Malinois, 38.7% Dutch shepherd and 8.3% German shepherd.

"I was so shocked," she said. "I, like, literally cried tears of joy, no offense, that she wasn't 100% Malinois. Like, I was so relieved."

Last month, Gosselin divided the internet when she shared a tearful update about the "pressure" and "strain and stress" she was feeling about raising Koda.

"I was just crying this morning," Gosselin said. "I'm tired. It's getting to be a lot." In her video, she shared that Koda had destroyed a rug and the bed of her former dog, Nanuq. Still, she acknowledged that her pup's behavioral issues came with the territory of adopting a rescue.

"At the end of the day, probably no one else would have saved her," Gosselin added. "So I know that we're doing a good thing. We just have to hang in."

In the comments of her initial video, some suggested that she and her boyfriend and former bodyguard, Steve Neild, should have considered the extensive care required to raise Malinois puppies before adopting.

Gosselin — who shares eight children with her ex Jon — went social media official with Neild last year after previously teasing in October that they had been in a relationship for over a year. While sharing the 10 things she was "obsessed with" at the time, Kate posted snaps of her kids, dogs, traveling, friends, pizza, her health and her new beau — calling him "my boyfriend😍" in text over two images of herself and Neild.
