Joely Richardson shared a tribute to her late sister Natasha Richardson.

Joely, 60, posted two throwback family photos taken in the ’90s on Instagram on Dec. 31. The first photo features Joely, her daughter Daisy Bevan, her brother Carlo Nero, their mother Vanessa Redgrave and the late Natasha as they toast with glasses of champagne in a garden.

"Thinking about families over these holidays. How much we can infuriate each other, push each others buttons etc, but oh that primordial LOVE. These photos were taken the summer my sister Natasha got married," Joely began her caption, referring to 1994, when Natasha wed Liam Neeson.

The second photo shows Natasha sitting and smiling with her mom.

"After her honeymoon she came to visit us in London . My daughter @daisybevan had been her bridesmaid so rushed to put her outfit back on. My brother Carlo was there . Mum hadn’t been able to go to the wedding so we raised a glass . Raising a glass to you and yours on this eve of a new year x #90s #2026," the actress concluded her tribute.

Natasha died at 45 in 2009 after suffering a brain bleed due to a skiing accident. In March 2009, the actress went on a ski vacation with her husband Neeson, now 73, and their sons, Michaél and Daniel, at the Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec, Canada. The three planned to spend quality time together while Liam was filming a movie in Toronto.

But what was supposed to be a fun family outing turned tragic the morning of March 16, 2009. During a private ski lesson, the Tony-winning actress fell on the beginner’s trail at Station Mont Tremblant and hit her head.

Neeson described their final phone call to Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes five years after her death.

"I spoke to her, and she said, 'Oh darling. I've taken a tumble in the snow.' That's how she described it," Neeson recalled.

When Neeson arrived, the doctor informed him that Richardson was "brain dead" and showed him an X-ray of her injury, which the actor said depicted her brain "squashed up against the side of the skull."

He went in to say his final goodbye, explaining, "She was on life support ... and [I] told her I loved her. Said, 'Sweetie, you're not coming back from this. You've banged your head. ... And we're bringing you back to New York. All your family and friends will come.' "

Speaking to Cooper, Neeson noted that he and Richardson had "made a pact" that if "any of us got into a vegetative state that we'd pull the plug."
