Influencers are getting in on the latest resurgence in obsession with Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, the former Calvin Klein publicist and wife of John F. Kennedy, Jr., in the wake of Ryan Murphy's show Love Story, chronicling their relationship.Online, creators are attempting to recreate the national style icon's signature '90s style, which generated its own cultural phenomenon before her untimely death alongside her husband and sister Lauren Bessette in a plane crash on July 16, 1999.Many works, including Sunita Kumar Nair's CBK: Caroline Bessette Kennedy: A Life in Fashion coffee table book, which features information and pictures on some of Bessette-Kennedy's most influential looks, have been written about the public figure's sartorial flair. Key to Bessette-Kennedy's style was her ability to make even the simplest of pieces look chic and cool.

In one video, popular TikToker Danielle Pheloung shares her "Outfit Of The Night," which she says is inspired by "CBK," including a pair of black slacks and a black short-sleeve turtleneck.In another recent video, fashion creator Daphne Blunt takes her viewers along with her as she goes shopping at what she calls CBK's "favorite pharmacy," a.k.a. C.O. Bigelow."I think it's time for us to go give this a try, see what we can get," Blunt said, citing the show's release as her inspiration for making the trek to the store. Going on, Blunt went on to discuss some fun facts about the pharmacy, which is actually the oldest apothecary in America, founded in 1838."The hair accessories were literally endless," Blunt said in a voiceover in the clip, taking her viewers with her through the store's seemingly endless selection.

After the shopping spree, Blunt returned to her apartment to show off her haul, including the highlight: a collection of headbands inspired by CBK."I have the classic tortoise, which [is] so chic," she said, trying on one of the bands, before going on to the rest of her haul.
"If you're looking to get the real deal Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy headbands, you know where to go," Blunt ended her video.Another New York City content creator, Talia Lichstein, poked fun at herself for hopping on Bessette-Kennedy's headband trend, making a video showing off her hairpiece, before saying, "I am one of eight girls at this Wegmans' with a f---ing tortoiseshell headband. The consumerism gets me every time."Blunt, Pheloung and Lichstein are among thousands of creators who are hopping on the Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy fashion train. She's quickly become one of the most referenced points of style inspiration for users on social media platforms. Under a hashtag of her name on TikTok, there are now nearly 8,000 posts.The hashtag #cbk, her initials, makes that number look small, featuring a host of about 27,000 posts discussing Carolyn and her style.
