Hoda Kotb shared festive photos of her daughters and Dylan Dreyer's family enjoying an early Fourth of July cookout
The weekend celebration included patriotic decorations, fireworks and friends and family bonding outdoors
Kotb recently stepped back from the Today show to spend more time with her daughters
Hoda Kotb and Dylan Dreyer kicked off their 4th of July festivities early alongside their kids!
Just days before the summer holiday, Kotb, 61, shared photos of her weekend festivities with loved ones, including Dreyer's family and Today producer Katie Ryan.
On Sunday, June 28, the former broadcaster shared an Instagram Reel of her family and friends having an outdoor cookout. The video began with a view of a sliding door with a painting of a flag, a patriotic banner, and white, red, and blue ribbon hanging on the doorway.
As the video panned outside, it showed a few adults gathered around a table with children, including Kotb's daughters, Hayley, 9, and Hope, 7.
Dreyer, Kotb's former Today costar, and her three sons, Calvin "Cal" Bradley, 9, Oliver "Ollie" George, 6, and Russell "Rusty" James, 4, also appeared to be a part of the festivities.

Kotb captioned the post, "Happy early 4th 🇺🇸🎆 @dylandreyernbc."
One comment said, "I love that Dylan's kids are celebrating with you! ♥️🤍💙."
A second Instagram post from Kotb gave a closer look at the festive weekend, including group shots of Kotb and Dreyer, 44, with friends.
In addition to a picture of all the kiddos sitting together at a dinner table, Kotb included photos of a fireworks show.

"Summer💕 @katieryan18 @dylandreyernbc," shared in the caption of her post.
Dreyer commented, "No better way to kick off summer!! ❤️."
This isn't the first time Kotb and Dreyer's families have spent time together.
Last September, Kotb shared photos from her Labor Day weekend, showing their families having fun in the water together.
In September 2024, Kotb announced her departure from the Today show as co-anchor to spend more time with her daughters and shared her plans to remain on staff in a reduced role.
Speaking about how life has been since signing off from the Today show for the final time in January 2025, Kotb told PEOPLE in November 2025, "It's been super fun."

"I mean to kind of have control of your own schedule, which is real weird. I didn't actually know how I would do," she told PEOPLE. "But something happened where like everything's in slow motion now."
"When I sit with my kids, it's slow, everything's kind of slowed down. I used to be like, ‘Shoes off. Okay, come on, we're late.' All I said was, ‘We're late, eat that, go to bed,' " continued Kotb. "Like those were my phrases, and now it's like we're sitting, we're breathing together — like we're just having moments. I love the rhythm."
