Fresh plans have been put forward for a caravan park after objections were raised by residents.
H W Land Holdings has applied to Westmorland and Furness Council for permission to use agricultural land by Whitbarrow Farm, near Penrith, to create a site with 100 caravans.
Plans for the same 10-hectare parcel of land submitted last year were met with objections from residents, who were concerned about traffic and congestion on narrow roads.
In planning documents, the company said the new proposal had a "very different layout" and it believed it would benefit the local economy by providing extra jobs.
The papers said: "It was decided in late 2025 that the application should be withdrawn to allow additional information the local authority was requesting to be collected and to re-think the layout to reflect the public comments that had been lodged."
The site is along the B5288, about 438 yards (400 metres) from the A66.

Those behind the plans said the site entrance would be via an existing access with "excellent visibility".
Previous objections said narrow, nearby roads could not support the extra traffic from the new holiday park and that new passing places were needed.
In a planning statement, the applicant said: "The site is in a sustainable location given the good access and communications network that serves the area and its proximity to other tourist accommodation facilities."
They added these plans were for the change of use of the land and if that was to be approved, further details about the holiday park would be submitted.
A consultation on the plans by the council runs until 18 July.
