Ex-Prince Andrew could reportedly visit one specific country to stay under the radar amid his arrest drama. A few days ago, the former Duke of York was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Before that, the 66-year-old made headlines for his past scandals, followed by losing his royal titles and Windsor property. Amid the chaos, an expert claimed that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could allegedly seek sanctuary in China.

Ex-Prince Andrew could reportedly flee the UK to a new country after his arrest. Royal expert and author Andrew Lownie shared his thoughts with The Mirror on the places the ex-duke could allegedly go. While the United Arab Emirates appeared to be an option, the expert said otherwise. “If he were to go to the Middle East, they wouldn’t want to upset the Royal Family,” he claimed.
According to the author of “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” the UAE rulers reportedly value their connection with King Charles more than their “links with Andrew.” So, they would seemingly not ruin the political relationship.

However, there’s one country where the ex-royal could go under the radar. Andrew might flee to China as he has “lots of business activities” there. Reportedly, the father of two has a “close” bond with the Chinese ambassador. Later, Lownie also clarified, “I have no evidence of any of this except my instinct. But that would be a place he could go.”
Meanwhile, Andrew has been in the news since last year. From being stripped of his royal titles to leaving Royal Lodge, the former prince went through a lot due to his past controversies. Recently, his arrest has again put him in the spotlight. Earlier, a report suggested that King Charles’ brother could make a bold move to lower his infamy.
Andrew could allegedly drop his position in the royal line of succession. “The cleanest way to remove him would be for Andrew to renounce his position himself,” a source told Rob Shuter. For now, he is eighth in line to the royal throne.
