Drew Barrymore cherishes sentimental value.

The actress, 50, has often talked about the relationship she has with her two daughters, Olive, 13, and Frankie, 11, and she recently commemorated their special bond with a new accessory.

While having People We Meet on Vacation star Emily Bader star on her talk show, Barrymore said she recently acquired a new moonstone ring from her trip to Bacalar, Mexico.

"What this year was telling me is that 2026 needs to have moonstone in it, so then I found this ring, which is me and my two daughters in moonstone," the Charlie's Angels star explained while pointing out a band that appeared to be adorned with a large stone flanked my two smaller stones.

Earlier this month, Barrymore talked about how she inked her skin with a tattoo symbolic of her journey to motherhood. "They're for me and my daughters," she explained of the design on her arm, which is of a trio of fishes surrounded by a larger, more subtler fish tattoo that represents who she is now.

"I was in my therapy session and I was like, I think one of the sardines is me as a young girl alongside my young daughters and I need to be...holding this and holding that space, if you will, for my younger self," she explained.

Barrymore welcomed her children in 2012 and 2014 with her ex-husband Will Kopelman. In 2023, she admitted that in the early stages of being a parent, she felt like a "failure."

"All those parents who have it all together, and they've got hygiene and nutrition and schedules and boundaries, God bless you. I didn't know any of that stuff when I had my kids," she revealed on the Chicks in the Office podcast.

Recalling the leniency of growing up in an earlier era, Barrymore said, "It led to resiliency — and now we're like, helicopter parenting and coddling and, you know, watching everything." But as her little ones have been inching towards being teenagers she's been "having the best time ever."

Since welcoming her kids, Barrymore has been careful about keeping their lives out of the limelight.

"My life with my children, my feelings, that's all on the table — but [Olive and Frankie themselves] are not," she told PEOPLE in 2020. "Because of my life experiences, I'm not selling my brand on my kids. I won't do it. But to ignore that part of my life would make me an automaton. So it's really inventive to figure out how to bring them into the omelet and fold it in, in a way that feels appropriate for me."
