Donald Trump’s “most beautiful” aide unwittingly humiliated him, as her declaration about the president dancing to the YMCA song backfired on social media.
Trump’s special assistant and communications adviser, Margo Martin, 31, posted a clip of the president performing his signature fist-pumping dance moves to the Village People's YMCA when he appeared at a South Carolina campaign rally on Friday, Aug. 21, to support Darline Graham.
She issued a seven-word declaration on a post on X, “There will never be another like him,” which ultimately backfired in the comments. This comes after Martin took time away from her job after Karoline Leavitt’s abrupt resignation.

Martin posted a video of Trump, 80, dancing on a stage to the 1978 disco hit, which he is known to play at his rallies and other political events. Trump busted out his signature dance moves, pumping both fists and moving his hips to the beat.
At one point, the president pretended to swing his arms as if he were moving to hit a golf ball with a golf club. He then went back to moving his fists in the air, as people in the audience could be seen in the background clapping their hands to the beat of the song.

Martin, who serves as an influential content creator for the president and frequently posts behind-the-scenes clips of him on social media, received less-than-thrilled responses to her caption on the video.
Users in the comment section turned her light-hearted caption, “There will never be another like him,” around, with many writing remarks along the lines of “Thank Christ” and “We can only hope…”

“Hope so, he’s been a cancer for America,” another user on X claimed.
“Damn sure hope not! He's f--king EMBARRASSING!” a fourth user wrote.
“I pray to God every day you’re right! Worst President of all time,” a fifth user wrote under her post.
During the rally, Trump addressed how his wife, first lady Melania Trump, 56, isn’t a fan of his dance moves to the song YMCA, repeating similar comments he has made at previous political events.

Trump joked, saying, “My wife hates when I do that. She says, ‘It's so unpresidential, darling.’” He continued saying that she apparently doesn’t like it when he does the “swimming routine” or “weightlifting routine.”
“I said, ‘Darling, I won in a landslide. It’s OK,” he said.
“She hates when I dance to that great, to the gay national anthem,” the president added, before claiming that he “got the highest gay vote in the history of politics for a Republican.”
In an interview with Fox News in January 2026, Melania addressed her husband’s claims that she doesn’t like his dance to the YMCA.
“I like it at certain times. Some days it’s not appropriate, and I told him so. But it’s his dance and I think people love it,” the first lady told Jesse Watters.
She even admitted that she has done the dance to the YMCA at his inauguration, but clarified that “it’s different than his.”
