Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey always has a cheerleader in his girlfriend Ana Demmer.
As the couple approaches their second anniversary in February, Humphrey, 27, tells PEOPLE Demmer, 28, is "my biggest supporter" during the NFL season.
"She's awesome. She's my biggest supporter, my biggest fan, week in and week out," says Humphrey.
Demmer "understands" his demanding schedule and what the "grind of a season can do to you," says Humphrey, as a "college athlete herself."

"She's always really supportive, always keeping things positive and giving me boosts and everything. She does an amazing job," the center tells PEOPLE amid the Chiefs' tough season, in which they missed the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.
Demmer is a vocal supporter of her beau on social media, regularly sharing photos from the sidelines at Chiefs games and at various events in Kansas City.

In a photo from the start of training camp, Demmer wrote, "when he makes time for you but hasn’t showered yet🥰🥴 year 5, let’s get it baby!," alongside a photo of herself and Humphrey.
When Humphrey celebrated his birthday in July, Demmer penned a touching post to her "in-house comedian," Humphrey.
"You are as rare as they come creedie. your spirit is joyous, your heart is warm, and your soul is rooted," Demmer continued, adding, "loving you has been my greatest adventure and most precious commitment."
While celebrating their first anniversary in February, Humphrey shared a carousel of photos of the couple from the past 12 months.
"A year full of amazing moments and laughter, can’t wait for more. Happy anniversary babe I love you," the Chiefs center wrote in his caption of the post, which his teammate, Travis Kelce, liked.
