Written and directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom: The Last Dance is based on the Marvel Comics character Venom. It is the third installment in the Venom film franchise and the fifth in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU). The film follows Eddie and Venom as they try to escape from both their worlds. These dangerous adventures force the duo to make a devastating decision that will conclude their last dance. The star cast features Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Graham, and many others in important roles. Additionally, Andy Serkis appears as the supervillain Knull, who created the symbiotes. The film received mixed reviews but emerged as a box-office success, grossing $478.9 million worldwide.
