Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are grandparents eight times over.
The longtime Hollywood couple, who have been together since 1983, share eight grandchildren between them: Ryder, Wilder, Bodhi, Bingham, Rio, Rani, Buddy and Boone.
Goldie's two children from her previous relationship with Bill Hudson, Kate and Oliver Hudson, have each welcomed three kids over the years. Meanwhile, her son with Kurt, Wyatt Russell, is a father of two. Kurt also shares a son, Boston, with his ex-wife Season Hubley, but he has kept his personal life private.
"It's the greatest thing," Kurt said of his and Goldie's large, blended family during a November 2023 interview with Access Hollywood. "You love them to death."

The Rules of Engagement alum welcomed his first child with his wife, Erinn Hudson, on Aug. 23, 2007. Though he never pursued acting other than a class outside of school, Wilder landed his first feature-film acting gig at 18 years old — and he got to work with his dad.
"I'm sitting there listening in the movie, and after his first take, I, for the first time, just started crying," Oliver told PEOPLE in October 2025 of filming their movie A Merry Little Ex-Mas. "Because I couldn't believe that this was my son."
The experience wasn't Wilder's first time working with his family. Earlier that year, he had a voice role in his grandmother's short animated film Brain Buddies alongside his brother, Bodhi, and his sister, Rio. Goldie gushed to PEOPLE in May 2025 that Wilder was "the one everyone said had such a great voice" while filming the project.
"But all of our grandchildren are entertainers," she added. "There is no doubt about it. We've got amazing grandchildren."

Oliver and Erinn's second son, Bodhi, was born on March 19, 2010 — and his grandma was the one who broke the news.
“Hurray! Baby BOY born to my son Oliver and his beautiful wife Erinn TODAY,” Goldie wrote in a post on X. “So happy! A new life! I’m Dancin my happy dance!”
Outside of a few family red carpet appearances — including the New York premiere for Happy Gilmore 2 in July 2025 — and guest-starring on his parents' podcast Unconsciously Coupled, Bodhi has mostly stayed out of the spotlight.

Goldie was just as excited to announce the birth of her first granddaughter, Rio, on July 18, 2013.
"Our first baby girl to join our family!” she wrote in a post on X. “Oliver and Erinn thank you for bringing so much JOY to our lives! #happiness.”
Rio has already learned how to work a red carpet, telling Access Hollywood in August 2025 that she wanted to go into showbiz and has a "strong connection" with her grandma. When asked what she thought of her granddaughter getting into acting, Goldie joked that she doesn't think the family "has a choice."

On Jan. 7, 2004, Kate welcomed her first child, Ryder, with The Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson. Ryder's middle name, Russell, is a special tribute to his grandfather, who told PEOPLE in April 2007 that his grandson was "a blast."

After he graduates from New York University in May 2026, Kate's eldest has reportedly set his sights on the family business, having already played a small role in his mom's Netflix series Running Point.
“I think he's kind of leaning into maybe [pursuing] acting more, but he's a very, very good singer, and he's a really good guitar player, and he loves music," his father told PEOPLE in February 2026. "And, yeah, I just couldn't be more proud of him.”
Bingham Hawn Bellamy, 14

Bingham arrived on July 9, 2011, to Kate and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, to whom she was engaged until 2014. Like his older brother, his moniker was also a nod to his great-grandfather, actor Bing Russell, while his middle name is a tribute to his grandmother.
Though he enjoys baseball and other pastimes typical of kids his age, Kate has noted that Bingham has a particularly unique interest in the stock market.
"He trades his own stocks," the actress told PEOPLE in May 2024. "He reads the news about where things are. He knows the class of each stock and each bond and all this stuff. It's crazy. So he'll be very interesting to watch grow up."

Kate and her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, welcomed their daughter on Oct. 2, 2018. Like her mother, Rani also has a passion for fashion and has even gotten her grandparents to dress up in prince and princess costumes for her 4th birthday in 2022.
"You are the real queen!" Goldie captioned an Instagram photo with Kurt and their granddaughter. "I'll take Lady in waiting everyday as long as the prince is always beside me! WE LOVE YOU!!!"

Goldie and Kurt's son Wyatt became a father in March 2021 when he and his wife, Meredith Hagner, welcomed their son, Buddy.
Though Wyatt has kept Buddy out of the public eye, he has said that becoming a father changed his life.
"It's everything you didn't know it was going to be," Wyatt told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. "Biologically, I think it does something to your brain where you just erase half your life before you've lived there. And now it's about him and your family and trying to balance everything, and time, and new, amazing problems, amazing issues to have."

On Feb. 13, 2024, Wyatt welcomed his son Boone. Hagner wrote in an Instagram post that their hearts were "overflowing."
Since welcoming his sons, Wyatt has said that fatherhood changed the way he's related to his mom and dad.
"When you become a parent, you realize what your parents feel about you," the actor told PEOPLE in April 2025. "And so you realize that all they want you to be is happy. They want you to live a fulfilled life, and that's all you care about for your kids. And so I'm imagining that's all my parents care about."
As for what it was like to become a grandma of eight, Goldie claimed that she doesn't think she's changed "at all."
"I do love being a grandmother, but I’m not the boss," she said during a November 2024 appearance on Making Space with Hoda Kotb. "I’m just the one that can deliver happiness to them, and also an ear if they need it."
